"The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be." ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
What is Transitions Coaching?Transitions Life Coaching will give you practical, easy to master tools and techniques you need to tweak your thinking, resulting in you feeling great all the time. Feeling good is the springboard for everything. When you feel good, you are calm. When you are calm, you have clarity. When you have clarity, you see what you want - and you get it.
The Transitions Coaching course consists of 18 hour-long sessions. The program is 18 weeks long for a reason. You are learning new habits, and it takes a while for new habits to become natural. Those 18 weeks pass quickly! As we near the end of the course, clients always ask if there is a 'part two!' You will not be asked to purchase any additional materials. I suggest two books to read at your leisure. They are inexpensive and available through the library. Another plus is there is no homework! I teach the way I want to be taught: through real-life stories and examples without homework! Once committing to taking the class, you will supply me with a credit card. I will keep your credit card information on file and will apply the class fee to the card after each session. There is no contract!
You have a choice of meeting weekly or bi-weekly. We will select a day and time that is mutually convenient. If you choose to meet weekly, the benefit is that you will complete the course in 18 consecutive weeks. If you choose to meet bi-weekly, the benefit is that you have more time between sessions to think about, and put in place, what you learned during the session. Upon completion of the Transitions Course, you will have a clear sense of who you are and what makes you happy. I also offer a Refresh and Renew program consisting of one hour-long session per month. It is interesting, enriching, invigorating, and gives you an infusion that makes you feel great and keeps you on track! |
Transitions Coaching Your Way:
When we meet, all that is required is a quiet place where we can chat easily and comfortably, and won't be interrupted. If you choose private sessions we have more flexibility since it is just the two of us. We can meet at a café and do the session over coffee, or over lunch at a quiet restaurant. If you participate in small group sessions, we will meet in a conference room. I have several throughout the area from which to choose. Throughout the Transitions Coaching Course, we cover the following five categories: finances, health, personal relationships, self improvement, career and passion. Who benefits from Transitions coaching?Typical Transitions life coaching clients include, but are not limited to: empty nesters, new residents, volunteers, new retirees, people contemplating a career change, women who are members of the "sandwich generation" (caring for aging parents and in laws and their children), and men and women whose jobs involve helping others.
Transitions Coaching is not for someone who is closed minded, someone looking to use the sessions as an opportunity to "vent," someone who only wants to focus on the past, someone who is determined to demonstrate how they do not need the sessions, or someone who wants to challenge me and the material in an attempt to prove their intellectual superiority.
I guarantee your Transitions Coaching experience will be uplifting! You will also find it interesting, thought provoking, and calming. It will result in you feeling fantastic! Your family will be stronger, your friendships will be deeper, your relationship with money will be better, you will sleep better, and you will be healthier. * Missed sessions policy: If you are not able to attend a scheduled class session and are participating in private sessions, we will simply skip that week and resume the following week. If you are participating in small group sessions, I will record the session for you and you will listen to it on your own prior to the next session.
